We all have a duty to keep children safe, to protect them from harm, and to access training which increases our personal and professional knowledge and ability, to support and safeguard children as part of the Return to Care/Home Interview Process’. SALT (2018)

Our vision is to ensure that children who run away and go missing from home or care, have access to a fully trained and competency assessed interviewer, and that the whole team/family around the child understand the importance of the;

As a registered NOCN and One Awards Centre, providing nationally recognised, accredited and endorsed training programmes, we are therefore pleased to announce that following a rigorous application and content assessment process, Shropshire Academy and Learning Trust have successfully achieved Awarding Body Endorsement, and Quality Mark approval, to deliver this important training programme that has been carefully designed for;

This research-informed one-day training programme has been designed with content integrity, efficacy and safeguarding knowledge.

The programme content has been thoughtfully prepared to equip caregivers, practitioners and professionals with the knowledge and confidence, through creatively designed training methods, to Understand the Importance of the Return to Home/Care Interview Process, to safeguard children who may have been exposed to risk and harm during their time away from safe care.

The One Awards Endorsed Quality Mark offers specifically designed and robust recognition of our training which has been planned to meet the needs of a wide range of professionals who are increasing demanding high quality, nationally recognised and competency-based training to support their understanding of the requirements of this important area of safeguarding practice.
